Firmino played well I thought. But he can't score for **** when we need it. Much like the other expensive flops we have.

Hendo is so wasteful with golden opportunities it's beyond a joke now.

Hey ho at least we guarantee Rooney starts every game and LvG stays put. As does the philosophy. FWIW we will finish above Utd but not in the top 4.
    One tit for another.

I'd buy Lacazette now, he's in a bit of a lull and could be available cheaper.

We need a winger? God knows who!

      Buy Timo Horn.

Then in summer get in some stronger squad players. Another CB, A Proper centre mid, another winger.

        Henderson 1

6 goals in total, 5 from open play from 22 matches

        That is ****ing diabolical. Shocking.
        Hello mert.

After that we have **** all.

Its mid january and we haven't even been linked with a striker by anyone worth their salt, we aren't looking for one or buying one.

Face it lads we are unbelieveably writing this season off and will once again do wholesale changes in the summer which will see us start the season slowly while all the new lads bed in. Unreal given the ****e that's ahead of us in the table.

Early days and I believe he will bring us some success, but I have to be honest and say I thought he'd turn things around quickly. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect us to be challenging for the top (although this season with Leicester sitting there, there's no reason why not) but I did expect him to get us playing with a lot more than this. His win rate is pretty atrocious, I half expected there to be a big honeymoon period, but as it is, its much of the same.
              It's still a ****e team though.

I think results at the big teams tell you what you need to differentiate between Rodgers and Klopp. Klopp already has more wins then Rodgers did in his entire tenure. He's still operating with the same ****e team that was left to him, there's been some improvement and I have a lot more faith in this team and philosophy going forward than I did with Rodgers.

I'll let Klopp have one full season before judging him. I'm not convinced at his full throttle football and I think he'll need to adjust, but it's too early.

As for his win rate, I thought it was the same as Rafa after 20 games or so?
                Are we winning?

It's so annoying though as if we just made one or two smart purchases now, with the league being so erratic... it's such a great chance to grab 4th spot. I'm getting so pissed off watching us fumble and **** about in the transfer market.

Despite all the decent play we had you could see something like that coming, if you don't take your chances that's what happens. We really need to bring someone in who can score goals.

Writing the season off in January is the lowest moment in a long time being an lfc fan if that is the message coming from the club. Proper midtable mentality from fsg. The club makes a fortune especially with the new tv deal but they seem more interested in sponsorship deals and cooperate hospitality than what's needed on the pitch.

                      Spend the money ffs.

I usually gloss over your posts, but this one tickled me.

You expected instant results from a new manager? You expected a group of under-performing players to suddenly start performing? You expected average players to suddenly find another level?

We've seen good, bad and average under Klopp which is entirely to be expected as he implements his ideas, changes tactics and training and has an opportunity to identify and bring in players of his choosing.

Thought Firmino had a mixed game. Good movement, made himself available and was our biggest goal threat (not that he was that much of a 'threat'). He was also too weak and his decision making was often poor. What was he doing with that chance at the end?

                            Fermion sounds like an alien.

Fermion from the planet wayward first touch

The team is not ****e. Klopp has been on record that the quality of players he has at his disposal is better than the Dortmund team he inherited in 2007. He just needs to adjust and learn how to make us a competitive team as quickly as he can.

I'd prioritise the league and play kids in cup competitions. That's what we did in 2014 and we nearly won the league.
                              Are we winning?

To be fair to Henderson, I don't think any were golden chances, to be honest I would say they were mostly half chances, but as I said in the match thread at HT, previously we have had players in the squad (Gerrard, Suarez, Torres etc) who could take those half chances and put them in the net, those players mentioned have put those chances away in these fixtures in the past. With all due respect to Henderson, he isn't in their league. I think it just indicates the lack of quality we have in the squad
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
