Mig made some crucial saves, he was our second best player for me.

In third place is Clyne. Some great crosses, good defending, let down by a lack of aggression in the box.
Admittedly I can't remember much of the match, but I've seen a few posts today praising Mig. Stats say 4 shots, 3 goals. Must have been some save he pulled off.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We had a good first team out last night, better than Seville's imo. I think we lost it in midfield as Can was not at his best and Banega is a classy little player.

Edit: Mig has got to be saving that 3rd goal

Edit2: Coutinho is off form at the moment. He's class and it's a shame he's hit a blip around this time.

That's before the header, and as the ball is heading to goal from the header sturridge makes an attempt to kick the ball so ended up being offside if he hadn't made an attempt for the ball the goal would probably been given.
          who's arsed?

He had no chance with the first two goals. Another example of how such stats are bull****.

The officialls got the offside decisions correct. They boobed on two handball incidents.

I can't even remember their third goal. What happened?

The keeper would surely have scooped up the header if Sturridge hadn't played for the ball.

I don't think sturridge touched the ball

It doesn't matter though does it? Doesn't the rule state that making a movement towards the ball (which Sturridge did) is enough to be offside?

That's what I said,if sturridge makes no attempt for the ball the flag stays down.

We've no way of knowing whether their keeper would have saved the header. It was rightly given offside IMO because Sturridge attempted to touch the ball from an offside position. Unless someone can produce an image which shows that Sevilla player close to the near side touchline playing Daniel onside when Dejan connected with the ball then it was the correct decision.

We definitely should have had a penalty though for handball.

On the penalties, the one where the lad stooped down was defo a pen. The others weren't Imo. Handball is not a foul. Deliberate handball is.

Not forgetting too that Chelsea have only the league to be arsed with next season to. Be interesting to see how we both do.

And the keeper saves it comfortably imo. Not that it matters now. The decision was fair enough.
