woody and taa look like they will be decent.

cant see it with ojo or stewart.
ojo has the pace but keeps cutting back inside. the new jordon ibe.
stewart plays understrength passes, goes sideways too often.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'd play the same team for the replay. Don't care if we're out of the FA cup.
      Are we winning?

I don't think they are going to necessarily shine when you put 4 in at once though. You are right that a lot of youth-team players are over-hyped (the "Suso-effect") but I'm not sure what you are going to learn about them in a game like that.

Some perspective in a thread that's likely to be dominated by the usual suspects when we don't win.

We played with a very young side today who showed that as a collective they're probably still a bit naive but it gives them some good experience and hopefully they'll learn from this it also gives Klopp some further insight into where some of these players are.

Anyway replay is a pain in the arse but it is what it is.
Most of those players won't make it here no matter how much experience they gain

Stewart is 23 so isn't exactly some bleary eyed teenager

Right, but most of these have barely started any games.

We don't see them in training, but you need to give them a chance to shine or fail on the real stage. And you can't always judge a teenager on a handful of sub appearances. There's all sorts of new variables at play for them. Big crowd, big expectation, scrutiny of every touch, mature, experienced opposition.

            I'm cool with it.

If we're playing home grown players are blatently not good enough into their 20s, then there's a problem.
            Oh I don't know.

Yep frustrating with Ojo as he looked a threat for me last year because he attacked players and used his pace

Ejaria is the one I don't get as he has no pace wants to dribble too much

Thought Gomez did well today and I think Arnold has a chance to make it

Moreno should also take a rest from set pieces. He's utter gash

It was Ojo's first game this season as he's been out 3 months through injury, so there is nothing to learn about him today.

Yep. And the general consensus on here is that he's not gonna make it.

Klopp sees something in him though I guess. Or maybe he's just covering for the senior players until the summer when we get someone better in? I dunno.
                    Oh I don't know.

yeh that was probably harsh, As there manager said they just stood off and let us try and break them down and we failed miserably......they showed up but showed zero ambition but got what they wanted so fair play.

And these are decisions you don't make it's down to the manager who decided to rest most of our main squad (quite rightly).

In the case of Stewart Klopp has already stated we turned down offers for him already this Jan window, sometimes it's about having options to allow your senior players rest which is why he played.

just look at the peterborough game now....they are having a go at Chelsea and attacking, Result so far....losing 2 nil.

I am sure if Plymouth came to play we would have won.

First game for 15 months for Gomez and I would say he didn't do too bad

The Ojo criticism is something I have with lots of players these days

Some players are lightning quick and could easily skin a fullback yet they hardly attempt to take on a fullback always preferring to come inside

One the biggest things a fullback hates is pace and someone going outside them

You can't rest senior players if the back up is of the quality of Kevin Stewart

                                I am sorry but he's ****e

Klopp wanting to bring through players is admirable but we desperately need better than him as back up
