Champions League Final 2018: Real Madrid vs Liverpool
Given the Salah injury (no matter how it happened) was Lallana the right move with an hour left? Wonder if Solanke or even Moreno would actually have been better for this situation. Might have helped keep the pace threat and shape that was causing them problems. Hindsight is a wonderful thing of course.

I think if he's fit then given the players available he was the logical choice. However I don't think that he was fully match fit or sharp. He looks far from the player he was last year. I am hoping that is just a fitness issue rather than anything else
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I would have preferred to bring on Can at that time and push Wijnaldum further forward to press higher up....the high press worked so well before Mo was taken out of the game

Moreno wouldn't have been any worse than Lallana was tbf

Can is further away from being match fit than Lallana. There wasn't too many options I'm afraid.
I think these issues will be addressed in the summer.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Lallana was the logical choice, but he ran like he'd shat himself, and was basically a passenger. I don't blame him, as he's had next to no football.
Even if we had done what you suggest, I still think Real would've won. They were able to commit more men forward, as they didn't think Firmino or Mane would do any real damage in open play. Mane tried his best (I loved how he tried to impose himself on the game), but Real knew that thanks to Salah going off, they'd been given a chance to kick on.
