Not that I give a **** about England, but you would imagine on merit/form he should be in, but Southgate tends to be loyal to his favourites, so who knows?

He is a class act and has really kicked on over the last 12 months, a great example for all of the younger lads. He’s also matured loads which you can tell in interviews, seems more comfortable in his own skin. He must have an outside chance of making the Euros with England?

I was another who thought Curtis would be playing for a Championship team by now.Originally posted by rudedog View PostJust reading some comments from a few pages back
I mean he will, hopefully, be playing for a Championship team. Just not the type I envisaged 12 months ago.
Absolutely made up for the lad that he's managed to repay his managers faith in him and kick on the way he has this season

He's championship level and i've been saying it all along. Slow of mind, slow of feet, not a good passer, not a good reader of the game, awful tackler, lacks energy and aggression, lazy but scored a nice goal once.
He's not an 18yr old kid anymore, like people are making out. He's coming up 22. Thats an age you should be making the spot your own. But he's failed time after time when given chances.

Curious to know who you would put in midfield ahead of him? Are you thinking Thiago, or Trent?Originally posted by Alex View PostIts lovely how he has pushed on again and now I think of him as a top prem player. Before I thought he was a backup type who could come in if we needed, but hes forced himself into the first team. I still wouldnt say he was in our best 11. But hes probably number 12 of that 11.
His energy along with the other new lads is vital. We missed it so much last season.

Curtis Jones (23) has the biggest influence on a team’s xG of any player in this season’s Premier League. #LFC average 2.5 xG for and 0.8 against xG per 90 when Jones is on the pitch. An xG swing of +1.71 per 90
