His game is really neat and tidy, really suits us.

Dare I say it sort of like Naby but with more end product.

He showed flashes of real talent and he seems to have a happy knack of being in the right place to get on the end of things. He should have scored one and maybe even two plus was a bit careless on the ball a few times. This is to be expected of young players and as I said before he looks to have the most potential of any of our youngsters.

I thought he did really well myself. I don’t know if he would be ahead of Ox or Naby at this stage, but he ran the midfield in the first half. What this says though is that we probably won’t go for Thiago to reinforce the midfield as we don’t need to.

I've been really surprised by the lack of game time that Jones has got since football returned, I thought that he was close enough to the side before lockdown and with the title more or less wrapped up at the restart and with Lallana (and presumably Shaqiri) on their way our, and with 5 subs available I really though the would have been the youngster to benefit the most, but I think yesterday was his first run out.

Regarding Ings is a boyhood Southampton fan and with all his injuries and at an age where he is/should be approaching his peak I think that he is happy to get first team football. He works hard which makes him (Ings) a Klopp type player but I don't think that his style of play really works with the system that we play at the moment, which is a concern that I have for Brewster, I can see why Origi was kept but I still don't think that he is really that well suited to the role he is asked to play.
