Hasn't really had the chance to establish himself has he really. Between injuries and brief appearances.

Think he's got more in his locker than Hendo who seems to have regressed.

I’m a massive advocate of him and was one of the early ones singing his praises - I agree with the stop start element but little things like looking off the pace and under hit passes etc are the surprise to me.

He is too good a player not to come good in the end so I have faith.

V tough group and I had hoped for 3 home wins + away win at Red Star which should have been enough. Beat Napoli by 2 goals last day at Anfield means we go through - I’ll take that.

Tough group which we should have done much better in. Losing three away games at this level is inexcusable really. We aren't as good as we think we are.

I'm not usually one to dig out a ref but ****ing hell. Verratti looked bemused at one point why he was even on the pitch.

We weren't great and fabinho can't be a klopp signing surely, and Keita will hopefully kick on soon because he is much needed.

The Premier is of a lesser quality. We can play a very average game and can still win. At that level, it's not possible.

Klopp ... players ... take your pic. You can't deny they've been poor away from home. Napoli away, Paris away ... tough games but no excuse for us not being competitive. I'm not suggesting knee jerk reactions like sacking the coach but **** me, this is desperate stuff from a good team. Look at all three games and there's been minimal creativity across the 270 minutes.

I’d argue we’ve been ‘poor’ all season relative to what we expect is our normal form - the balance in midfield is wrong and losing tonight was not unexpected. The Napoli and Red Star games are where the players didn’t step up.

So much riding on that for PSG, and it was either money or pressure from uefa to keep them in the competition, but that refereeing performance was crooked. No way could a ref perform like that from start to finish through mistakes.
