    Tonight's result feels massive 21/12/18

Not sure why as they are a promoted side, but tonight is really significant; all the players look so confident & we were missing so many = massive; 7 goals conceded massive; Salah smiling massive; Wij pissed off for missing a 95 min chance massive; VVD JUST MASSIVE.

It does. And I'm drinking like we've won the league. Lol. Merry Christmas lads.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Its because you’ve been drinking I reckon

We just seem incredibly focused in games wher historically (for ****ing decades) we lacked that exact quality.

Teams will need to play really ****ing well to have even a sniff chance of beating us.

The entire squad from guaranteed first XI to guys coming in for them odd game have a phenomenal attitude to what they are there to do.
      Modifying post.

        I'll drink to that too.

It's we've tipped the see saw / scales today. Just about half way through the season and top dogs.

Long way to go. Plenty of **** ups to come. But you couldn't have wished for more right now.
        Oh I don't know.

It feels massive because we've overcome the pressure of being at the top and against a team that's taken points off the top six including City!

          Happy ****ing Christmas!

So far, the Everton and Chelsea results have been the most important (imo). Not just the results, but the manner in which we got them.
            Another MASSIVE game

Although I have a horrible feeling that every victory will ironically put us more and more on tenterhooks for the next game. I'm not sure I'll be able to take the tension at the end of the season if we keep it up like this.

The team look pretty on it though. So if they're cool, I am too.

I missed the game but I'm ****in histerical reading all that, I had lots of doubts before the season but none of them appear to have been reasonable

In any other PL era we'd be 12 points clear, celebrating a title right now. We'll just have to work harder, but I think we can pull it off.

They're paid to stay cool. I'm not so I'll be bricking it all the way to the end. Me and the team and not together in the coolness.

                      A fair point, well made.

I'm trying to do my best to blend in with the cucumbers in the meantime.

You're doing a good job there too.

I'm old school with this. I remember going to the match with my dad in the 70s who'd been going to Anfield since the 50s and even in our pomp he'd always say "No matter how well you think we're doing son, prepare yourself, because one day they'll let you down." Having said that I have a sneaking suspicion that he thought the world was going to end on the first day of the new millennium as he'd stockpiled spam in his basement for 5 years before. Either way, as Karen Carpenter once said, football is nothing without the highs and the lows, and I don't think it will be the same if that feeling goes away in the end.

                            Mahrez's penalty miss?

I don't know who said it but someone was making the point in how easy city had it last season as they went up another gear and this year they are the same with no drop off however we have also raised our game to their level which is fantastic. I think if we beat them in a few weeks no one will stop us.
