I don't know whether having that room for error would be a good or a bad thing for us - the squad seems so focused now and is dealing incredibly well with the pressure of having zero room for error.Originally posted by Norbs View PostPerhaps. 4pts ahead of City with 17 to go would be a good platform though
Defeat wouldn't be catastrophic - assuming the gap stays the same until then only 2 points behind with 3 months left would be ok. We'd have all taken it.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Where's the fun in that?Originally posted by Fuzzy View PostI missed the game but I'm ****in histerical reading all that, I had lots of doubts before the season but none of them appear to have been reasonable
In any other PL era we'd be 12 points clear, celebrating a title right now. We'll just have to work harder, but I think we can pull it off.
I remember arguing here during Rafa's time that for selfish reasons I'd rather win the CL rather than the PL because those one off occasions such as Chelsea SF and Istanbul can't be replicated over a 38 game season.
As mad as it sounds, thanks to City the league feels like a KO competition, one or two losses and were out with every game feeling like a mini cup final (hate to use a cliche, but it's true).
It's ****ing brilliant.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Think it's better to just focus on the Newcastle game, and the small matter of Arsenal than worry about City.
Xmas is a right time to **** things up, so we'd want to be aiming for max points.
Not allowing myself to even entertain notions until we come out the other side of the City game in the position we are."I will make the boys feel your support"
