If they stay fit, they massively improve the squad. Not sure Lallana or Brewster could cover for a long period without there being a drop off in quality. Gomez is up there with Matip and Ox is better, IMO, than anyone other attacking midfielder that we have so he improves us

Building a squad that can get us over the line even with injuries is the final step we need to make to be able to overtake City.
They have a squad of two champions quality first teams, not 1.5.

Lallana will not stay fit, Brewster is an unproven kid & Ox and Gomez have a history of getting injured and both are coming back from bad injuries. Was hoping these quotes wouldn't surface, we need to add to the quality of our side & I do suspect we will... so I'm not worrying yet.Originally posted by Bender View Post

“Yep, we got a **** ton of cash and I can’t wait to spend it on some proper quality”.
We sold Judas Phil and didn’t replace him and went on to the CL final, the third highest points total in PL history and a CL win. We waited for Virg when everyone was going nuts saying it was mad to not sign a centre back that summer. We were convincing ourselves Karius might not be a disaster and In came AB.
I think it’s fair to say Klopp and the club know what they are doing.Modifying post.
