Mick McCarthy (on TV here) just said that we were the best English team he's ever seen in all his years. Not that his opinion counts for much but I'm still in shock hearing people like that praising us with such alarming regularity.

He just added that we're on par with the better Bayern, Madrid and Barca teams too.
