Absolutely agree, I could handle City winning it again ahead of them They would be unbearable as champions.

Big game against them in a few weeks, but we’ve beaten bigger and better teams than them, and been in bigger games before. They’ve not. I think they will get injuries and I’ll be surprised if they can keep up the consistency. They’ll be like Leicester last season.
Fully agree, said the same in a group chat full of City and Spurs earlier. A handful of injuries and they won't be able to cope. And we've gone the course and distance, so when they come to our place I fully expect us to school them. They'll play afraid, with a back six, just like Mourinho's United did when they came to Anfield. All Spurs do is defend and hope for a bit of magic from Son and Kane on the counter. We've more than enough nous to cope with that, and we're just better than them.

I'd like to think that, but with Kane's propensity to 'cleverly draw' penalties and the way VAR decisions are going against us I wouldn't be surprised to see the spawn something
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Would be delicious if someone backed into Kane who then falls in a heap. I'm earmarking Gini for that role
        Was muß, das muß.

Hojberg seems to be a very good & very Jose signing for them, they are very strong as a team these days; as others have said hopefully injuries will kick in soon & they drop off.

That said, they are only joint top on goals without any injuries & no VAR **** ups taking points from them; compare that to the start we have had to endure & things are looking positive.

I was quite surprised to read that. Obviously with the best attack in the leage I shouldn't be, but our good displays do seem to be going under the radar a bit.

Did anybody notice the OTT commentary during the City game yesterday. Keown and Darke (I think) basically suggesting the league is over and were in total awe how City managed to turn things around in the last two games to get back to back wins for the first time this season. So after being schooled by Spurs, they astonishingly were able to switch it on at home to Burnely and Fulham. They're back!
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

League is far from far over, with fixture congestion and likely injuries there are a number of teams very much in it, us, City, Spurs and Chelsea at the moment, who knows what will happen as season progresses.

Some interesting matches in teh next few weeks with Manchester derby, us and Spurs and even Chelsea away to Everton, if they can sort out their FB problem.

Given Spurs are top of the league at the moment, when you look at their squad are there any players in there that you think would merit a first team position in our squad, assuming we keep the same formation and style we currently use?

                      Aye.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Son is amazing, and in red hot form, but who drops out of our attack to fit him in?

handshake: Son would probably get on our bench.

Well the question was squad, not team

Edit - seems I misread slightly, but point still stands, they are wholly inferior to us.

Ponch's Spurs who we dominated in CL final were much superior to this team IMO.

Still fully expect them to drop off the pace in the new year.
