If that’s what it came down to, they’d need to beat Spurs away by two more than we beat Palace at home. Possible, but very unlikely.

        It’s the hope that kills
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

We are top of the form League last 5 games, and the only team unbeaten last 5 games.

Yeah, I can't imagine Jamie and Harry played many family games of Trivial Pursuit

It's really tight. FWIW I do think Chelsea will be Leicester as Leicester have the FA Cup final in their minds and Brendan has a history of choking it. Crease me up if Leicester end up out of the CL and trophyless

What happens if we finish 4th and Chelsea 5th and Chelsea win the CL? Could happen if Chelsea vs Leicester is a draw.

Top 4 into CL plus Chelsea in as holders (5 English teams)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Apparently, this is the 1st ever season we’ve won away at both Man Utd and Arsenal.
Also won at Chelsea and Spurs too.

In this season of all seasons. Weird game.

A hairline VAR decision from adding Everton to that too.

PL era or since football actually started?

Ever, according to some stattos on Twitter.

                        Seems hard to believe.

                            Using 11 v 11:

                            This season

2000/2001 - 17 December won at United (league), beat Arsenal in FA Cup final so that was neutral venue not away

1963/1964 - 23/11 beat United away (league), 15/02 beat Arsenal away in the cup

1929/1930 - 21/09 beat United away, 02/04 beat Arsenal away both in division 1

1895/1896 - 12/10 beat Newton Heath away, 16/11 beat Woolwich Arsenal away both in division 2.

The stat was for league games. So 1st time post war era anyway. Still pretty remarkable.
