So good movement and somebody beside him in midfield to take over some of the dirtier work helped him alot. I'd hope we go the same team again on Monday as going on last nights performance it is our best setup and can only get better as the players start to understand each other. Which is a weird thing to given how far into the season we are!!!

Thiago looked so much better last night, a real live wire too

thought he was fantastic. For me, easily his best performance for us against what could be a very difficult side. Sharp passing, sharp into the tackle and dynamic in his play. Was great to see, just need Hendo back in midfield to see the full effect.

Yep let Thiago play in his natural role and he looks better. Made a change for him to have Fabinho in midfield with him instead of him trying to be showhorned into the role that Fabinho does.


Need to start more or less the same team against Wolves imho. Only question for me would be if Wijnaldum starts or if Keita or Jones get a run out.

Would actually be tempted to start with Fabinho, Thiago and Keita against Wolves and then bring on Jones and Wijnaldum later in the game to have fresh legs in the middle for the final 20 to 30 mins.


Same front three as last night is a must I think, and would not touch the back line either.

I've met Bill Roache and man alive he has absolute ladykiller charm, the like of which I've barely seen before. First time was on a tour of Granada Studios and I took a pic of him with my Mum and my Nana. I could sense his "crumpet radar" going doolally.

Then I ended up working at Granada and would see him about the place, almost always charming a woman senseless. He did it with such gentlemanly style and aplomb somehow. That bloke who plays Dev is the opposite. A total slimeball.

So I can confirm he's a grade A dick, at least he was 18 years ago.

Actress that played one of the Battersby sisters lived across the hall from me at that time (I think it was just her digs when filming tbh) she was nice.
