Lots of plus points today. We look sharp. Front 3 look sharp, Elliot, Keita and Milner are a good partnership in midfield and Virgil played 70 mins. Matip looks his usual excellent self.

My take on this game so far is that we've still got a potent, if variable attack, Harvey Elliot looks like he'll be good for us this season, and our defence is going to take a while to get back into shape. A decent side would have put a few past us here, we're still incredibly vulnerable to the break.

I didn't think we looked sharp and certainly not the front three. Any attack that wasn't on the break was completely stale and unimaginative. Harvey Elliot the highlight of this game, Keita promising too, and excellent Matip. Hopefully Robertson is ok.

You're right about this - unless we've caught them on the hop with a ball over the top to Mo we do struggle. I think most clubs do these days though, now the defences are better drilled.

We were all over Bilbao for the first 30 mins, creating lots of clear cut chances and cut them apart and pushing them back.

Obviously, it’s pre season, so it’s up and down a little bit but things are looking up.

Yeah I thought we pressed and counter-attacked really well first half, it was great to watch. Mane is on it, and Elliott looks a special player in the making.

Mane is definitely on it, which is great to see. He was the one that i most looking forward to in preseason - he's sharp. As is Salah which you'd expect, and Jota. No issues with the front three i reckon.

Jota has picked up where he left off pre injury, Mane is on a mission this year and Salah has been brilliant all pre-season. We are going to be electric going forward this year.
