Still got a preseason game tonight first, with a bunch of first teamers playing in that too...lets hope they all come thru unscathed and that Robbo isn't too badly off.

That was a decent hit out especially the first 30-40 mins or so. The pressing was good & even though we had a different midfield 3 of Millie, Naby & Elliot we created chances for the front three even though Bobby wasn’t there. Beck did amazing & im sure I wasn’t the only one asking who the hell is he when he came on. Elliot & Naby we’re close to the MOTM imo & it bodes well for the future.

I’m not sure I’d take a risk with playing Tsimikas tonight now that Andy is out for weeks. We’ll probably just play him for 45 or so hopefully at worst. He’s played quite a bit this PS so fitness shouldn’t be an issue & the CB’s tonight won’t be playing on Saturday most likely so building up an understanding with tonight’s players is mute. Thoughts?

Jota has picked up where he left off pre injury, Mane is on a mission this year and Salah has been brilliant all pre-season. We are going to be electric going forward this year.

The result doesn't matter imo. They all look sharp, all look hungry and we've got our pressing game back. We've looked supremely fit in recent matches, which is even more impressive considering Klopp usually trains on preseason match days and runs them into the ground.

I think Norwich are gonna be on the receiving end of a serious beating, players look like they've got something to prove.

Admittedly, I may have a tendency to get carried away, but all my post match reading shares a similar view of mine on the front 3.

Will it be the same team? We play again tonight, with another mixture of youth and experience playing. I imagine that Konate, Fabinho, Jones, Chamberlain, Firmino and Henderson will all be in the mix for a starting place as well, and due to Robbo's unfortunate injury so will Tsimikas.

Personally I'm not sure VVD will be straight back in, unless it's for a 60min match fitness exercise, nor do I think Elliot will start yet.
