All we can do is keep winning and hope they make a mistake. If not it will be really cruel on us and a hard one to take.

They did and I think that is the difference between the two teams in their current runs of form. We get on top and we will win, they get on top and they will probably win.

Since the turn of the year, City haven’t gone more than 2 league games without dropping points.

Yeah, sadly they're missing Bissouma as he's a serial yellow card and has a 2 game ban for collecting 10.

Brighton are a good team but they've conceded 27 in 9 against them i think i read earlier.

        Doesn't bode well.

Yeah Bissouma being out is a big loss for them.

Played 10 times in PL, won 9, lost 1. The one they were lost, Cancelo was sent off after 10 mins.

But this isn't a normal season. As decent as Brighton are, they aren't likely to get something on merit, it will take City to implode or something really random to happen.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Lamptey doesn't often play twice in a week either. Him against Zinchenko could have been an area for Brighton to exploit.

I know he’s a divisive figure, but the way Graham Souness is loving our resurgence makes me happy. Same for Kenny and all our greats with Cheshire Cat grins watching this amazing side.

Souness is a man that made some stupid mistakes, well one big one with that interview, but do not think his love for the club could ever be questioned.

He is still our best all round midfielder in my eyes.

Some will no doubt say Gerrard but for my money Souness had everything Gerrard had and then had an extra layer of grit on top. A steel hand in a velvet glove. Man had everything in his locker right down to that Magnum PI 'tache that he and Yosser Hughes rocked so well.

Shame about his managerial career, he had the drive that winners come with but not the talent of a top manager.

His early managerial career was a success.

Managed Rangers almost to the CL final. Had that first Battle of Britain game with Leeds.

Pretty sure even you could be a success with one of the big two in Scotland though.

Before my time but seen plenty of people who’s opinion I respect (Dad included ) who said he was our best ever central midfielder

What came afterwards we can forget about

I just remember this hard ******* in the middle of the pitch who could defend and attack equally well, and that could outplay you or outfight you, your choice.

and he was able to lead by dragging a team along with him by sheer will but was also able to talk other players through games and verbally keep things ticking over.

Souness was a brilliant player and enforcer.

When he cam back as manager he tried to clear out too many players all at once, and it went to ****.

Incredibly honest response from Souness. I fondly remember him as a player - he was brilliant and hard as nails. That period when he was manager of Liverpool was tough (winning/losing didn't matter so much to me at that point but it had nothing to do with him being manager). One other thing - his Liverpool teams were not as **** as the current Utd team.
                              Another MASSIVE game
