yup Diaz and Mane are taking up each others space, midfield lads slow and stagnant and Gomez offering nothing on the right. Balance all over the shop.

Tsimikas and Diaz were tripping over each other too often too. Understandable as Diaz is new and Tsimikas rarely plays, but we choose to make those changes.

Yeah was literally just saying this to my dad, there is no understanding there yet. It looks like exactly what it is, we've made too many changes and it had shown. Few little tweaks and hopefully get some cohesion and fluidity back.

Think Diaz needs to be a bit more disciplined with his positioning and stay out wide. Drifting in way too much and making us narrow.

That is his style of playing though and would imagine we bought him to be another inverted winger/forward.

Think what we need is for whichever of our regular attackers is in the central attacking slot to be watching for Diaz and to drift out left when they spot Diaz cutting in.
