Makes it clear why getting transfers in early is so important.

Man U still yet to strike a blow.
        Modifying post.

Lot of travelling in that pre season.

Much prefer we did our pre seasons in the UK or in one country and city if abroad.

Especially ahead of a season that will be as congested as the first half of this one will be.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness

Expecting to see crazy supporter scenes in Asia again. Remember the last time, including Australia!?

I don't like the idea of a preseason friendly against Man Utd. There's no such thing as a friendly against them.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Also another game the day after the community shield, I assume they will be two different teams/squads but still seems odd

Imagine how their fans feel!! 9 goals during the regular season wasn’t enough?

Agree with you, would also prefer we avoided that kind of travel, but also think it’s good to give fans from other parts of the world a chance to see a live game.

I’m based in the US, and when they come over here, the local fans really get hyped up for the games- most LFC fans never get a chance to go to anfield. Would be a bad message to the fans, if we didn’t tour in pre season, while every other club does.

The quality of our play we need that now, Playing the dog and duck 11 like we used to we would be getting double figures.

Aren't we also playing them early in the season?

It’s been way to long & we must be due another trip to Oz.

When the lads were over in 2015 I watched the match on Friday night in Brisbane then flew 1700km the next day to Melbourne then drove just under 1000km to Adelaide along the Great Ocean Rd for our match on Monday night & then on Tuesday I did the same all over again to get home. An epic road trip with my son.

Amazing SB! I was at the G and will never forget the sound of 100k ppl singing YNWA. Spine tingling. I’ve been to Anfield a few times, but the sheer volume of that rendition was amazing.
