Tempo from the lads in the last 20 was outstanding and Salz were giving it their all. Just couldn't get the goal.

I didn’t see the game last night but checked Twitter earlier and I see the comp merchants are on Nunez again. He looked a little cumbersome last night based on the 47 sec clip I saw We’ve been spoilt by the technical skill and intricate forward play we’ve had under Klopp. He’ll take time to adapt for sure and I’ve said 1000 times I’ve full faith in him and our recruitment. He just needs to avoid social media for his own sanity

We saw enough of what he can do when he is used to the teammates around him in the two games he played against us.

He is not silky skilled, but he is no donkey either. Said it before but I see him developing into a faster version of Cavani in time in terms of style of play.

Once he settles in, he will be a beast of a player for us imo, and until then his physical qualities and movement, not to mention the way he seems to lose markers with his runs into the box, will cause serious problems for the backlines we face.

Pre season games are just a tool to go with the behind the scenes work our coaches do. The youtube idiots can drool or panic, depending on result, over pre season wins and losses. The rest of us wonderful folk here on planet EST will sit back and wait for the lad to get a run of games under his belt.

When it matters he will come good, am confident of that.


Darwin Nunez - Premier League Winner. Has a nice ring to it. Look forward to it being reality in 2023. No golden boot for him in 2023 though, Salah is getting that and in some style

I reckon Salah is going to be awesome this season and that break midseason will hopefully see him avoid any fatigue later in the season.

Just Utd fans who were desperate to sign him themselves about three months ago. There is loads of promise. Lots of runs, but a few crossed wires in terms of runs and pass placement.

He is very physical as well which is going to create opportunities for Salah and Jota and Diaz.

Other supporters would do well to concentrate on there own problems! I am sure all bar City supporters would be happy to change places.
