I saw us lose 3-0 to Napoli in pre season in 2019-20. We were ****e, all match. We went on to win the League. Pre season is all about fitness.

Exactly! You can see his thinking though - tell them that he'll be getting rid of half of them if they look like they don't give a **** and see what they're made of. Plus he can't **** up his first game against us.

It's pre season so it doesn't matter a **** if they win 6 or 7 nil - our lads could be training this morning who knows. It amazes me how we managed to get 4th with Nat & Rhys - the two of them are the polar opposite style of CB we have, especially on the ball where they both look so uncomfortable

United going full strength and the McT smashing guys like it's a world cup final we play them at OT week 3 and I still think we will thump them. Was impressed by the cameos of Elliot and Carvalho

Their goals were all as a result of bad mistakes by our defense and we didn't capitalize on the good chances we made early on. As I said this doesn't matter a **** - look at our pre season the year we won the league......... we lost most games and there was doom and gloom amongst our fans

We are playing this like it is, an exercise in getting players fit. United in the first half have played their strongest 11, and yet we should still have scored at least 2.

All three of their goals have come from defensive errors, from players who will be no where near the first team come the start of the season (Mabaya/Philips x2 and the Williams).

As a match, it's been fun to watch, even if half the time I am going 'who??' when we get the ball.

They all looked very nervous to be honest. It was literally 30 minutes of the first pre-season game though.
