I missed the first half, did any of the kids show any promise?

I thought they'd looked good. Some decent moves, good passing and control, looking for the right moves. They all also looked like they were all playing together for the first time, which they were.

Elliott and Carvalho were the best of the first 30 youngsters, by far.

Second 30 no one has stood out from the young lads, but Ox is looking good .

Last 30 team will be good, almost a starting 11 I think

Davestwin7: I know it is preseason. I know Man Utd has a really strong line up out compared to Liverpool. All the I knows in the world to keep expectations in check. BUT 3-0 up is still freaking brilliant

Nunez with his first shot on target for us, De Gea has to beat it away but there is no-one following up. Not a hard one for the keeper but a nice start.

Heaton in goal for United now, saving from Nunez.

Darwin makes some great runs, no one has quite managed to play him in yet though.

United scored again, doing a Liverpool to us. They intercepted the ball after a poor pass further up the pitch, then broke quickly, out-numbering us tthe back and tapping it in. What I didn't like there was players like Keita jogging happily back without a care in the world whilst they broke on us. I don't care if we make mistakes in pre-season, or are rusty, but I do mind when players look like they don't give a ****.

Our weakness is still a midfield that struggles to open up teams... I am not going to be happy until we sign that midfielder.

At least we have been disappointing as a team.
