Yep and afaik the Mancs started their pre season a week before ours not to mention a chunk of our players only returned the Kirkby last Wednesday and Thursday

Today was nothing more than a glorified training session.

Let the mancs get all excited by what may be the highlight of their season. We will get excited when points on are on the line.

I must admit the highlight for me was Dan losing £50

Yeah, expected us to be down looking at initial line ups but was pretty confident we would win the 2nd half when the big boys came on, which didn't happen clearly. Don't care really but did lose 50 quid

I put £100 on United. paid out in 30 minutes when it got 2-0

Easiest money I will make all season ( probably the only money )

Reminded that Rhys Williams existed again. He’s contracted until 2026 but I don’t see any reason for him still being at the club in all honesty.

A reminder of what a load of madness was spouted by at least one poster here when they suggested Phillips or Williams should be ahead of Gomez. Neither are close and will be out the door this summer.

Missed a few sitters, Nunez should have put his chance away. Diaz is one that needs to work on his finishing. It's great we are creating so much though. Defence was a horror show but ad to be expected.

Yeah, first 3 goals were all defensive errors from players that will not be involved in the first team come the start of the season. Their 4th was a fast break with all our players pretty much in the final third.

Carvalho and Salah were unlucky as both hit the inside of the post, and then Diaz clipped the outside with a shot as well. De Gea had a couple of good saves and Diaz and Nunez both missed open goals from inside 6 yards. Diaz with a fresh air swing and Nunez over the bar when under a bit of pressure,

Not sure how many shots on target United had, cos I don't remember either keeper making a save of note, but we still conceded the 4

Not sure why this game is causing such discussion...at this stage in the pre-season how far in the squad is in its fitness training tends to be a major factor. All it means really is that Utd is further in than us.
