Like a team that nearly won every trophy they went in for in the same season a mere 7 months ago? There is no lack of effort in our play, there is a lack of cohesion.

I can guarantee you the good times are more likely to return for Liverpool, and quickly, than they are for your local amateur team.

And I’m not saying we can’t acknowledge when we are ****, like second half last week. Tonight was meh. Poor game by both teams. It’s just the relentless negativity on everything. Team. Owners. Investment. Away kit. Players contracts. Players to old. Too young. Too new. Don’t care. Don’t try. Wages.

    Everything.

I genuinely wouldn’t go to the game with any of you lot

Miserable ****ers. We’re in bad form. So what. Just get on with it move onto the next game and hope for a win. We can’t influence anything beyond that, so why moan about absolutely everything.

There are fans out there whose teams never win anything ever. We are having one sub par season out of 5 amazing ones. I refuse to be overly negative. I enjoy the game. I enjoy hoping we will snatch a win., and if we don’t I hope we will next time.

I think we have been spoiled for the last few years. Seasons like this make you appreciate the good ones.
Yup - you have to have been around a while to get this.

I go and watch Hearts a few times, been about four times this season and the supporters are typically miserable as ****. But they’ve earned the right to moan and be miserable.

Liverpool supporters who chock the towel in after 6 bad months or whatever (and we are 7th not 17th) just underline what I was saying above! One season where too 4 looks a stretch and we won’t get to the CL final and it’s all doom and gloom.

Football is escape, it’s sport, it’s a game. Who gives a **** how much they earn.

Regardless of how ****e they are the players are still earning more in a week than most supporters earn in a year or several

I sometimes wish I had your rose tinted Fredo
Rose tinted? I'm a fan, as much as you are. I just don't like throwing the towel in and throw my toys out of the pram when the team is not doing well, just like a bunch of kids in a park do like entitled little suckers. We're not playing well, we all know that, I'm not saying we are, but I know deep down we'll be back.

I'm grateful for our manager, who sees the bigger picture, regardless of the doom and gloom. This team deserves far more respect than the **** I read in here day in day out.

I go and watch Hearts a few times, been about four times this season and the supporters are typically miserable as ****. But they’ve earned the right to moan and be miserable. Zero chance of winning the league every year and the slim hope of a good cup run if you can avoid the old firm. That’s it. That’s as good as it gets. Yet these guys love football just as much as anyone in here, the same as supporters of countless teams in the same position.

Clean sheet today was down to poor finishing by Palace than our defending. We were really poor, give those chances to a half decent side and we concede 1 or 2, really need to be better than we were today.

The players need to keep plugging at it. Reminds me of how deep we had to dig during our bad season a couple of years ago. When you aren't flying, these clean sheets even without playing well, matters for confidence. We're back at Anfield for the next 2 games now, hoping for a couple of wins. At some point things will turn for the better.
