Classic "Captain Fantastic" was when he received the ball on half way during a break, instead of instantly passing forward to keep the move going he spun 360 degrees and laid the ball off square. Terrible player.
The point being his introduction has had zero (so far) positive impact. He's supposed to come on and positively 'impact the game'; at least that what his cheerleaders claim.
I agree that he's had no positive impact. I'm not one of his cheerleaders. However, I think the problem is bigger than one player in midfield.
It all starts in the defence for me. Klopp keeps making changes to shore it up but everyone starts to come back further and further. We just can't defend properly any more.
Agreed. Midfield changes just seem to make the defence worse…
