Was suffering from cramp against Brazil apparently & then a long haul flight home isn’t ideal. I wonder if we’ll make the same mistake playing Mac after his last performance after internationals.

Trent is never playing midfield instead of RB surely?!

Id worry a bit about TAA playing there. He loses his man all the time at RB.

Maybe a focus on a purely defensive role might work better?

I dont think the inverted role is working very well, but TAA is a fantastic player. I wished we would go back to his role from the previous 6 seasons, where he pushed us to glory. Its not like he suddenly got found out. The whole midfield collapsed on front of him last season, and I think he was still a bit knackered too.Klopps original idea was tactically sound.

    Szob, TAA, Gravenberch
    Salah, Nunez, Jota
    I like this team.

Would go the other way and start Nunez and have Jota as his sub or as the sub for Diaz.

Course if Diaz is unable to start then we need Jota for the left wing as Gakpo is out.

I’m game if you are ? I think we start with Timmy as it’s been a long time since Joe played LB

id go a bit bold, Gomez at Rb and push TAA in midfield alongside Sbloz and Gravenbach - Stick Maca
on the bench as he played at 3am UK time Thursday morning.

It's a pity that they have turned their form around a bit. A month ago, they were really ****e.

Another 1230 kick off post international break is total bull**** too. **** sake. Between that ****e (man City next month as well) and the officials at spurs, you just know it will cost us at the end of the year.

Dyche will be looking to make a good start to the game i think. Will probably get into us early and target MacAllister as well as both our full backs so we need to be alive from the off.

A good win would be brilliant here. Lay down a marker of sorts and then hopefully we can watch Brighton do something v City as well as Chelsea and Arsenal kick lumps out of each other

I'd like to see Gravenberch, Szoboszlai and Mac Allister in midfield, keep possession and progress with the ball - I don't think we need a defensive midfielder against these clowns.

I wish we just sat in for the first 20-30 mins and figure them out. Got 90 mins to win a game and we will end up a goal down in that first 20 as usual

Drop Dom in next to Mac, Mo and Diaz drop in. We've seen how difficult we can be in a low block with 9-10 men, not sure why we don't try it more often especially with our pace on the counter.
