Speedie is a little bit hard done by though. He was brought in mid-season, the manager left a month later. He scored at Old Trafford and Everton (when they weren't garbage) in his first few games and had 6 by the end of a tough season. He just wasn't seen as a "Liverpool" player when we were a bit more picky about what that meant. Sounness put paid to the pickiness. I don't think anyone could accuse Speedie of not having fight!

We're going to have to make changes at half time. We haven't turned up today and we'll be lucky if it's only 1-0 at half time. We have to win this; a draw isn't a disaster but it's unlikely to be enough in the end.
