I wondered if having both Szoboszlai and Trent just come back from injury (not sure were they are fitness wise) and both starting down the right is something of a risk. Bradley at RB with one starting in midfield and the other replacing him at some point in the second half might be a 'safer' option if they aren't fully fit, I wouldn't expect either to play 90mins even if they both start.

Nunez would be a huge blow. Gakpo doesn't press or have the pace to stretch arsenal. In fact gakpo is pretty average and will probably be bombed out when the new manager arrives.
Bradley must start. Need to be at our strongest and martinelli absolutely roasts trent when we play.

I think Bradley starts (he's earned it) with Trent on the bench. I was at the game on Wednesday and despite Gomez doing the inverted\hybrid role from the left, we were never really exposed in the LB or RB positions. It wasn't like Bradley was holding back on his position when we were in possession either was regularly ahead of the midfield.Originally posted by rudedog View PostWho are you dropping to fit Trent in the midfield three, Alexis or Jones?
I feel when Trent and Robbo have played with Trent inverted, Robbo has struggled and Trent relies on Ibu to cover RB too. Maybe it will be better as we look to have adopted a back 2 when in possession now, rather than having Robbo as part of a back 3.
Maybe it was because Chelsea were so ****, but Bradley had Sterling in his pocket for the 1st half and then so did Gomez in the 2nd. Bradley managed to make Mudryk look utterly useless before he went off for Trent on 68 mins. We definitely gave them more chances after the quadruple substitution, but we took high workmate players off and replaced them with at least a couple who were not 100% match fit.

Jota in the centre for me in order to have a cutting edge.
I would 100% be starting Bradley at RB again as we will lose some of the pressing up front if Nunez is out so would want the LB and RB slots covered by guys that are going to bust a gut on whatever flank our pressing that sees our pressing levels reduced.

It'd be an amazing show of faith in the young fella but do you think it wise to rock the TAA train ?

Aye, Martinelli never got a sniff against Bradley in the cup game, he's got to keep his placeOriginally posted by DerKrampus View PostHonestly I'd play Bradley again - he deserves to keep his spot.
Also his pocket is still warm from Sterling's stay so Martinelli will look forward to returning, keeping it warm for... Sterling again in the cup final!
