    It's not possible that we won't get better, but we're not winning this league. If we were going to snap back into form we would have seen some shoots of recovery by now. By the time we do I expect we'll have too much to do.

    Yeah, I'm not having that. Kenny was on the Overlap the other day saying that it could be a few months before it clicked but was clearly a fan of Wirtz. Sometimes players need a few months, half a season, a full season or one day. There's not a lot Slot can do to expedite that unfortunately other than get them on the training ground and play them until they learn each other's traits.

    We're just going to have to be patient safe in the knowledge we have special players, even if they're not quite showing it at the moment.
