    Hyypia: I'm not leaving.

    Hyypiä shoots down transfer rumours
    By EuropeanFootballNews.co.uk - December 18 2006

Finland and Liverpool defender Sami Hyypiä has strongly denied any possibility he might be leaving the club. Having been linked with Swedish club Malmö FF, Hyypiä decided to comment his situation in a recent column.

"With all due respect to the Swedish league and Malmö, there is no chance whatsoever, I'd be moving there. I hadn't even heard that kind of rumour before Sunday. Besides, if it should happen, that I wouldn't get games at Liverpool anymore, I would continue my career either in England or in Central Europe and not in Scandinavia", he wrote.

Swedish newspaper Expressen wrote last weekend, that Hyypiä would be negotiating a move to Sweden to link up with international collegues Jari Litmanen and Jonatan Johansson.

"It seems incomprehensible that some journalists don't have any moral standards", Hyypiä commented. "They just sit by their computer, make up their own transfer stories and publish them. Unbelievably immoral stuff".

Hyypiä stressed the importance of rotation in the current squad and underlined, that no player will play all games during the long season.

"I am not going anywhere and I doubt Liverpool would be willing to sell me either", he concluded. "I will comment on it this first and last time and I won't lower to give any more comments on this during the season".

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I would like to see him finish his carrier with us.

He is a class act and one of the best CD we have ever had.

We`d not be able to replace him, most importantly for the CL (most good palyers are europe cup tied)

I want to him to still be an important member of the first team squad, but i think Agger has passed him this year
              We need better attacking players!

              Torres aint enough

I would like him to end his footy here and maybe get a coaching job or scouting.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope he stays and earn a testimonial. The guy is a legned in my eyes. Served the club wearing his heart on his sleeve. If it was not for him & Hnechoz, Houllier would be out of a job 2 years into his reign.

Nice one big Sami!!! Top man, that's the reply we wanted. He deserves a testimonial but he's a few years short of getting one at the moment I think?

Im glad our players are having sly digs at the media on top of just saying 'Thats just rubbish', all properly dedicated to the cause!

                      Hyypia = legend!
