    Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is set to receive an OBE in the new year's honours list - after missing out on three other occasions. (Mail)


    He's getting his best tracky dry-cleaned especially.

    Honours are a pile of ****e and I wish no one would bother with them. At the end of the day, its what we do on the pitch, for Liverpool FC and **** all else matters, in my humblest of opinions. Trophies count, the rest is bollocks.
