1. He worries me as well, but he is getting away with it. Hopefully he'll work it out of his system as he's still young. On his day, he's as good as any 'keeper on the planet in my opinion.

2. Of course, I think Riise's gotten worse while Garcia's gotten better.

3. I've loved watching Bellamy play these last couple of games. He's really got some positive energy and confidence about him, and looks dangerous every time he's involved in play. I'm delighted to see that he's coming around.

5. It does tend to get quiet when we're not playing in the Champions' League or against the likes of Man U or Chelsea. Couldn't tell today--television was muted at the bar.

6. My personal favorite is the '77 European Cup Final shirt--great badge. Also prefer the early Adidas kits circa 1987 when we were sponsored by Crown Paints. But this year's shirt is definitely the best since that one.

We really got done in by the horrible start. In all likelihood, the best we can hope for is a repeat of last year. There just seemed to be an awful combination of the following:

1. Poor early season form of players like Gerrard, Alonso, Hyypia, Carragher, Finnan, Reina

2. Too many new signings needing time to settle in, which was compounded by Rafa's rotation policy.

Agree with your points 1 and 2, but I disagree with the third one. If anything the injuries helped us, because it meant we had to pretty much keep a constant first 11 and has meant Stevie G going into the middle. I don't think it's a coincidence that our recent good run coincided with all those injuries.
