Thanjk you.

I've seen Kuyt play 4 times on visits to the netherlands. He's a very effective team player. Reminds me a bit of Kevin Keegan or Mark Hughes. Very hard, working, bustling - will run all day and knows where the goal is. He'll score the odd spectacular.
I've heard folk compare him to Shearer before. Hope he's more interesting
Shearer is actually the one who has persuaded Newcastle to end their interest in Kuyt, Shearer wasnt impressed at all with Kuyt during the world cup.
Come to think of it, I kinda remember Shearer being quiet enough at the world cup.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
