    ... And posting infrequently.

'You're better without words, and when you post infrequently' is what I should have said.

The alternative, edgy, oh-my-god stuff kinda loses it's 'Shock!' value when you see it every 5 seconds.

is lector respected as someone with insider contacts. I seem to remember him as a regular run of the mill, posting 24/7/365, member and suddenly it was as if he had some kind of super powers over at KT and everyone started looking up to the sky, waiting and bowing to his superior knowledge of the insider workings of Liverpool Football Club.

So my question is. Is Lector a reliable insider or not? I never considered him as "in the know" but somehow everyone else did.

Sounds like Rafa's kind of player. The fact that he had a pretty quiet World Cup is probably to our advantage.

Thats exactly the way i have seen it mate.
I have never read any of his exclusives either.
today private eye posted that Kuyt deal was close, according to his source etc.
then Lecter said the same thing after private eye posted that.
IMO its easy to post a follow up message in the aftermath, but id like to see him coming out with a fresh link that nobody has linked us to before.
Im not saying he is deffo a bull****ter though, we may be wrong. I just like to see more evidence from someone before i believe everything they say.
Its like people saying we are going to sign such and such, when it is plastered all over the papers.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Dunno about Lecter myself. A lot of people I like reckon his info his good, and certainly Lecter likes to allow people to assume his source is Carra.

Personally I always felt he revelled in his supposed 'insider' status far too much, took the high ground all the time and spoke as though he was some kind of official LFC spokesman.

That's precisely what I thought. If Kuyt had dazzled in the WC, they'd have held out for closer to the £14m figure that was being touted around previously. I think that would have priced us out of the market.

Whether it's Lecter, PE2, Dunk or anybody else for that matter, I think we're all long enough in the tooth to realise that only a very small percentage of what gets posted on internet forums becomes a reality. So take the information for what it is - somebody's opinion. These aren't guarantees.
Our friend Maestro pointed us towards Kuyt a short while ago - and whilst it hasn't happened (yet) - it was posted in good faith and should be received in the same manner. Let's not start a witch hunt when somebody passes on information - it invariably leads to them stopping posting.

Regarding Kuyt - I'm more confident of him signing now that Rafa has spoken publicly about the need for another striker.

Lecter is sound. He has connections to a couple of our players I believe but it doesn't mean the info he gets is always 100% correct.

He is usually on the ball in his assessment of things.

I always doubt when a poster claims to be an Insider. Thats one of the reason i never paid for KT. All this Dunk saga proved me right.

My opinion is Insiders dont post on forums. simple.
