We look great now but I'm already struggling to contain my excitement about how good we'll be next season. I honestly can't see us losing a game.

Talking of getting carried away, I was wondering last night if it's beyond the realms of possibility that we could challenge for the league this year.
I think it's a long shot but no team is doing particularly well, we've had a lot of tough games which are now out of the way and we have some momentum plus injured players to return.
Hmm.

Definitely.Originally posted by Alex View PostWell we have City away in a couple of weeks and then thats all the big boys away I think.
Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, Man City and Everton away all done before the end of November. Thats got to be helpful for the last half of the season.
I don't think for a moment that we'll win it, but there's no reason why we can't make a good challenge as the teams above us aren't all that.

I think we have a very good chance of getting Champions League place. But winning is probably a couple of steps too far.But next year with a couple of transfer windows behind him and a full Pre Season, I cant see why we couldn't challenge.
Did you notice as soon as we got Klopp onboard, the calibre of players linked to us improved? Didnt think of it under Rodgers, but obviously reputation carries a fair bit of clout with regards to getting a foot in the door.*Except Michael, who died.

Only time will tell about those "linked players" as its most likely just the media putting 2 & 2 together to make up a story innit.Originally posted by Alex View PostI think we have a very good chance of getting Champions League place. Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I think we've really got a chance of top 4 this season too, we're in a lucky position given Chelsea's utter **** start but the owners could have easily let it drag out a few more months so they deserve some credit.Originally posted by Alex View PostI think we have a very good chance of getting Champions League place. When Klopp first took over I was thinking we're 'x' points off 4th having already been to Arsenal, United, Stoke, Everton and his first game Spurs. At the time it felt like a positive to be in the running having played that lot but after seeing his set up against Chelsea I kind of wish we still had another crack at United/Everton.
Palace this weekend is huge, we need to keep this momentum going and not show the fragile mentality we've had under Rodgers.Vive la France

Nah I reckon it plays a massive part. Brendan moaning about not having the right calibre tools, was paradoxically (through no fault of his own) due to himself not being the kind of draw to the type of players we need to take us to the next level.
I do think he's put down a solid squad for Klopp to work with, the best we've had in years, but now we can add the finishing touches without stumbling upon them through sheer chance.Hello mert.

He reminds me of a cleverer version of Austin Powers, loads of charm and always laughing.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

What I'm saying though is I doubt any of the players being linked are being leaked by us but rather the media making headlines. I've no doubts that Klopp will be shopping a bit more trendy than at Southampton or Swansea for example & rightly so. It will be interesting to see who he thinks he needs to make us kick on.Originally posted by Fivex View PostNah I reckon it plays a massive part.
