Mixed feelings to be honest. On the one hand sad that he is associated with another club other than ours, having said that I don't think he could have done that type of role here because of his legacy as manager, the new manager would have been in his shadow (more so than Slot is now), so I don't think that would have been fair to anyone.
But he wanted to move back to Germany and he hasn't taken a manager's role, I always expected him to do this type of role somewhere in Germany (if he didn't manage the national side). I would be disappointed if he had taken a club manager role but he hasn't . He gave us everything I don't feel that he owes us anything. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Delighted for him. I suspect it’s a part time role really as an advisor.
Red Bull can roll him out for press coverage and he can speak to the Clubs about how to improve.
He’ll be getting a slab of money and he doesn’t have the drag of working day in and day out.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Someone on a Werder Bremen forum said in May that this was agreed back in February.
Could be true or it could be a remarkable blag.
