Maybe it’s why Sadio was shown the door- I’ve heard that klopp has a strict no hoes before bros policy.

Funny as the idea of Klopp saying something like that is, the man himself has stated a number of times that Sadio made it clear a long time in advance that he wanted to leave and that he was not interested in a new contract.

Going by how Klopp told it, and would have no reason to doubt the man, Sadio was completely upfront and played no games with regards to his eventual exit.

Another of 'our' players who's form has fallen of a cliff after last season

Or he moved on at the right time for us, bit like how Wijnaldum went to pot after leaving us.

or our players have gone to **** since them 2 left?

I think there is an argument to say that our Mentality and togetherness at the time made good players Great.

Once that squad started to fragment, They have all gone to **** not just the 2 that left

I don't think you would have to work to hard to make that arguement tbh.

I would also add that maybe for a number of players their physicality played a big part in bolstering their mental strength and when one dipped so did the other and it may have had a bit of a domino effect on those around them, and a number of players that we as supporters thought were mentality monsters turned out to be feeding off of the never say never attitude of the few.

                    Maybe.

I love Gini, but we got 92 points, a CL Final and both domestic cups without him.

Love Mane too, but him still being here doesn’t change this season for us imo.

He was also overplayed and struggling for form and fitness this season like everybody else who played last season for us.

I know everyone wished him well, i mean i guess he earned that. But i'm glad it hasn't worked out for him... i want everyone that leaves LFC to fail. Shame the ones that have stayed have failed too mind.

We seem to have cashed in/exited senior players at pretty much the best time in recent seasons - Gini, Sadio, Coutinho... the only one who went on to do just as well or better was Sterling, but given he went to Oil Money FC with a superstar team around him, he could hardly fail...

Keita and Ox have been like millstones around the club for the last two seasons and should have been booted long ago. Not freshening up the squad for those two has led to a lack of competition and no resurgence in midfield energy levels that new transfers bring...

From what I've seen this season, Gakpo and Nunez will shine next season with the right energy levels and service from midfield. Must be so hard to seamlessly integrate into a team that was once imperious but you join when they're down on their luck, out of energy and ideas and you have to get up to speed with new playing systems. Nightmare for anyone, that.

Really missed Diaz this season and Jota's brought precisely nada to proceedings as well.

I think we should have been more ruthless in (attempting to) moving those players on, neither were ever going to come good (again) based on what we have seen over the last 3 years, I feel if we had tried to move them on a couple of years ago maybe there could have been takers but we held on too long and no-one has been prepared to take a risk.

I don't have any worries about the new(er) signings we have made individually it's more about the system and how we get the best out of them. I think getting Nunez' confidence and composure in front of goal will be huge, because my concern with the forward line (Diaz, Nunez and Salah) is that I don't think that Diaz has as many goals in him as Mane used to, which means we need Nunez to be posting bigger numbers (effectively Nunez to post Mane numbers and Diaz to post Firmino type numbers) with no drop off from Salah and the other forwards - Jota in particular to find his shooting boots again. I'd be interested to see where Gakpo plays long term, still not sure about that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Difficult within the contractual constraints, but I'm not sure we tried that hard either.

I'm more annoyed with Naby tho, how many times did he go on international duty when injured or returning from injury just to make it worse. Seems country trumped club every time for him.

Some of our more fragile players need to follow Matip's lead and resign from international duty - Hendo included.
We are here for a good time not a long time....
