It's not about his shooing technique. His no look thing is pretty excessive with passes, flick ons and shots.

I didn't realise he'd no looked that untill i saw that post and Im just wondering if that type of chance is perhaps an example of when not to do it and maybe just focus on the target?

Diaz put that ball right into the corner, couldn't have done much better. Just outstanding last ditch defending from Vidal stopped it being a goal.

He’s not trying to coach him, he’s just expressing an opinion… on a forum, shocker! By all means argue about his opinion, but maybe you don’t need to argue about the fact that he has an opinion… also tbf it sounds like he is enjoying him, he started with:

No need for the Firmino and Salah whataboutery. I wasn't even saying it was a bad miss. Just asking if he's generally a bit over excessive with it.

The no look thing is not just about showboating either. Its also a way to fake out your opponent, they think the balls going one way and in reality its going the opposite direction. Even the slightest bit of wrong footing helps, especially shooting at goal where a keeper being a split second off helps.

Yeah, I wouldn't say Diaz was at fault for that missed chance. It was just an absolutely incredible block from Vidal.

Side point but Diaz has been really unlucky so far. He's had quite a few shots that were flying in blocked (one by Mane if I remember correctly ).
