It's a bad day when you wish you had Giles in the team for his batting.

What do thing - go for a bit of a slog and try and get a few overs at Pakistan or play slowly and hope to hang in long enough to guarentee a draw?

Well...in the interests of winning the series I suppose we should opt for the latter, but personally I want to see us have a bit of a slog and maybe have half a dozen overs or so at them tonight.

I think we need to get the winning mentality back and therfore need to go for a slog. I'm not happy with a team that settles for a draw in any sport.

Same here, which is why I'd prefer us to have a slog too. Sadly though, the England hierachy have a bit of a negative mentality IMO. Strauss' captaincy has been a tad negative so far and it wouldn't at all surprise me to see us 'make sure we don't lose' first and foremost.

Been a bit disappointed by Strauss as captain. I thought Tresco was functional but uninspired but he seemed more settled and effective than Strauss.

You seem to be right Fletcher seems to inspire a cautious approach.

Anyway, told you it wasn't over and that the pitch would change today.

England will win tomorrow, probably by about 70-100 runs

I'm going tomorrow, 15 quid entry

rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

You didn't have the traditional "all day bender at the cricket" then?!

Should be a great day tomorrow, with a likely full house? Certainly should be at that price, although they only charged £10 on the last day of the Ashes Test at Old Trafford last summer.

Not sure which way it'll go. Inzy's injury will unsettle them though - he can't come until number 7, I think.

There's more in this game than there was last year. It's very likely we'll get a full day's play.
I couldn't do a "Gary Player" today as I had stuff to sort out but I might do tomorrow

great test match. Shame I missed most of it so far.

I reckon Monty may do us proud.
