League will suit him down to the ground lots of time and space, he would struggle in prem imo. Nice footballer though, guaranteed league medal.

Would absolutely love it if he turns out to be a flop.

I think football is perilously close to going bust. The numbers are so high clubs are going to go out of business.

Most Premier League clubs are now returning profits for the first time. Even City. The Premier League has so much money the clubs can't spend it all. |

It's a gamble obviously but it's merely a consequence of having a lot of money sloshing around football at the elite level. |

Rafa has turned Perez into a really good little player. Leicester will be a really interesting team next season!

Atletico spending all the Griezmann money on Felix, I think it’s a big gamble but the kid does look sensational

Rodri had better stats than Fernandinho last season aswell. Looks quality but we'll see how he gets on in the prem. |

Good for them, Arnautovic seems like a massively disruptive player.
Can we sign Anderson now? He's fucking quality. |

Maxi Gomez refused to join West Ham who was ready to pay 50M € of its release clause. The latter wants to join Valencia, close to find an agreement with Celta Vigo. (AS)

Do Atletico have a case here? I don't doubt that they have been in discussions before 1st July but if the contract was only terminated after that then surely Barca only have to pay the fee require on the day it was triggered, unless the clubs had agreed a fee prior to allowing talks to open.
The big question here though is why the fuck did they put a reducing buyout clause in in the first place particularly as the contract was only signed last year when there was still interest from Barcelona |
