Diego Costa has not settled at Chelsea and is willing to take a pay cut to rejoin Atletico Madrid this summer, according to a Spanish report.
Costa scored 20 Premier League goals in just 24 starts in his debut season at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea comfortably won the Premier League title, but the Brazilian-born striker is unhappy living in London, according to Spanish newspaper Marca. 'Although his season has been notable in a sporting sense, Diego Costa is not happy at Chelsea,' the report reads. 'His problem is his lacking of adaptation to London, to the rainy English climate, the language, the plastic fans and the food. 'All of these have been key in moving the striker to make contact with the Atletico Madrid directors... with one objective. To return home, to the club he arrived at at 17 years old.' Costa allegedly doubled his wages when making the £35million move to Chelsea last summer, but Marca claims he is willing to take a significant pay cut to move back to Madrid. Chelsea, however, will not want to part company with the 26-year-old, who may be forced into submitting a transfer request if the reports are true. http://www.teamtalk.com/news/2483/98...Chelsea-Report |

Was listening to Paulo Bandini this morning and he seems to think that the chance of Pogba leaving this summer is a lot less than it was 4 months or so ago. The fact that they were in the CL final and have signed Khedira seems to have changed things. He didnt quote anyone directly, but he said something along the lines of being surprised if he left this summer now. But expects him to leave eventually for one of the Giant sides.

that's some midfield they have now with those two and vidal

Barclays Premier League clubs have submitted the list of players that they will be keeping in their squads, and the ones they will be releasing, for 2014/15.
Premier League rules require all clubs to submit their retained and released lists to the Premier League by the third Saturday in May. Please note that players signified as a "free transfer" or released by a club on the expiry of their contract on 30 June 2015, could remain there next season and so this list should not be seen as definitive for players leaving their club. The information below is correct as of 28 May. A player's status may have changed since that date. Ravel Morrison set to leave Lazio without making an appearance as QPR target move for the troubled midfielder
By CHRIS WHEELER FOR THE DAILY MAIL and MIKE KEEGAN FOR THE DAILY MAIL PUBLISHED: 12:58, 12 June 2015 | UPDATED: 21:33, 12 June 2015 It says much about the ever-changing world of Ravel Morrison that his stay in the Eternal City appears to be over after a few months. Ravel and Rome always felt like a peculiar arrangement. Lazio were still maintaining on Friday that the former Manchester United wonderkid will stay and play for them next season. ‘I’ve seen what’s in the media but these things don’t interest me,’ the club’s sporting director Igli Tare said. But news that Morrison may be homesick and wants to leave without having kicked a ball in anger will surprise no one who has followed his chequered career closely. The player’s representatives are said to be trying to broker a release from the pre-contract he signed with Lazio earlier this year and talks have begun with QPR, one of six clubs with which he has been associated by the age of 22. On the surface, Morrison appeared to be settling down in his new life. He has trained at Lazio’s Formello HQ, since his contract at West Ham was ripped up in February even though FIFA rules prohibited him from playing for the club in Serie A last season. In April, he posted a picture of himself in a blue Lazio bathrobe on Instagram, and as recently as last week was said to be making progress with his Italian lessons. However, several sightings in his hometown of Manchester and reports that he has been reunited with his on-off girlfriend Reah Dixon, who has shared a photo of the two of them on social media, meant that few people were surprised to learn that Morrison may have had a change of heart. It would not be the first backward step in a once hugely promising career. Morrison, of course, is the young tearaway that even Sir Alex Ferguson couldn’t tame. ‘I think he’s better out of Manchester to be honest with you,’ said the former United boss after Morrison left the club for West Ham in 2012, referring to the questionable company he was keeping. On one occasion, Morrison was in a car stopped by police close to the city centre which was found to be carrying guns and drugs. By then, he had already been cautioned for an assault on his mother, Sharon Ryan, at the age of 15. Born in Wythenshawe and raised in the tough area of Denton, he twice narrowly avoided jail in 2011 after admitting two counts of witness intimidation towards a mugging victim and was then found guilty of criminal damage for throwing his girlfriend’s mobile phone out of a window during a heated row. Morrison was also arrested and charged with assaulting his ex-partner and her mother last summer but the case was dropped in January, clearing the way for his move to Italy. His talent has never been in doubt. In fact, Ferguson rated him as the best young player he had witnessed coming through United’s youth academy since Paul Scholes. But many feared he lacked dedication, sometimes skipping training to play football with his friends instead. ‘He had a tendency to disappear for the odd day or two and then we would manage to find him and bring him back in,’ said Ferguson’s No 2 Mike Phelan. ‘At United there were other things going on which were a distraction for him and that played a part in his downfall. It’s easy to say we let our most promising player leave but is it worth the hassle to wait and maybe not see fruition to it?’ Birmingham considered terminating Morrison’s loan from West Ham over his attitude to training, and a similar agreement with Cardiff was cut short in December due to ‘personal circumstances’. His brief spell at QPR was more encouraging, and Morrison even emerged as an outside contender for a place in England’s World Cup squad last summer. But Sam Allardyce, like Ferguson, lost patience in the end. ‘You can lead the horse to water but you can’t make it drink,’ lamented the former Hammers boss. On Friday, as the Italian media claimed that Manchester City have launched a £58million bid to take his old United youth team-mate Paul Pogba back to England from Juventus, Morrison might want to think about that. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...idfielder.html :handshake: |
When are people going to stop paying this prick a footballer's wage, realise he's never going to be 'tamed' and let him move on to another career?
|
Probably the same time people do with Mario. :D

Chelsea are close to signing 29-year-old striker Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan from Ligue 1 side Monaco, despite the Colombia international's underwhelming campaign at Manchester United. (Sunday Telegraph)

It looks like Carlos Bacca is off to Roma. According to his agent : “Carlos is deeply religious. And in Rome, there is the pope. And apart from that we are talking about one of the best clubs [Roma].”
