Sounds like you way ahead of things! |

I reckon it'll be Firmino at the tip of midfield And interchange up top between the three, particularly with Salah and Jota. It'll be a rollercoaster. :pop: |

Watch us lose now :D |

Remember when we thought Klopp played it too safe against the other half of Manchester. Fucking Hell, we'll not be able to say that, at least.
|
It's a certainly an attacking side with the front 4. I don't mind that my main concern is that Matip can come in and be up to speed.
Really nervous now. |
442 and same formation we played vs Sheffield I reckon.
|
Man City vs Liverpool - Premier League (20/21 - Game 8)
It could be a diamond with Mo at the tip, Sadio and Diogo either side with Bobby in the hole.
|
Not convinced by this at all. I was nervous about the game beforehand but now have a really bad feeling. This change in shape/emphasis will be more helpful for them than us (unless we blitz them and I don’t see that happening). Hope I’m wrong but from the outside it looks like we bottled the Firmino/Jota decision.
|
We got to just trust in klopp. He’s not been wrong that often! Come on the redmen!!!

It gives them more to worry about and is less predictable. Surely it’s not a bad thing as both teams know each other well. Sometimes we’ve got to try to evolve.
|
Think Carra makes a fair point, we've lost last 3 times here with full strength 433, so why not try something different.

Also, 433 is very demanding for the midfield as they’ve got to shift sideways a lot. Against City it’s harder. 442, whether it’s a diamond or a more traditional formation, allows us to cover defensive areas better. Whether that works we’ll see pretty soon.

My worry is if they beat the press it's going to be a nightmare for Henderson and Wijnaldum. It also means we don't have much to come on if things aren't going well in the final 20 minutes. I think the big defeats after project restart might mean Klopp things "fuck it, let's try and blitz them". |

It’s going to be more defensive than you think IMO. |
This is going to be fun. Jota adds a fair bit of hornet like aggression and something different. He is a goal poacher and while they can prepare for the other three, Jota is another story.
|
Bobby as the advanced midfielder will allow us an option of playing through the middle easier and unlocking their defence when they sit back.
I have been hoping for this change for ages as it plays to firmino's strengths. They won't know if we're coming down the flank or straight through them. Bobby coming in late for the second balls, it sounds ace  |

Our other options weren't obvious for me. Naby has just come back to fitness, Jones for me is a bit inexperienced for this fixture and Milner hasn't been the best lately. |

Super sub Origi, genius Shaq, Keita and Jones for midfield. City have Foden and an out of form Silva. |

C'mon the fuck ! |
Wish Martin Tyler would stop saying "And it's livvvve"!
We know it's live you fucking clown. |
See now does Alisson be looking for the runs of Jota etc, going on that talk they were having in the tunnel
