21-22 with serve :haha:
|
They should have made the rackets a cm smaller after each game or give them a shot of Sambuca to liven it up
|
:haha:
They need to change the rules for sure. Whoever wins this will be fucked for the final. 46 game 5th set so far. More games than most 5 set matches. |
Scenes if he breaks back
|
Amazing interview from Kevin Anderson at the end of his semi.
Managed to be totally gracious, speak about his opponent, apologise for not seeming more excited an request a rule change in fifth sets the second after he walked of court having won 26-24 in the 5th set in the second longest match in Wimbledon history. You feared for him anyway against Rafa or Novak, but after a 6 and half hour semi final two days after taking Roger to 5 sets, then I think he has almost no chance. |
The quality in this nadal semi is unreal.
|
Djokovic is looking like he’s back close to his best
|
Brilliant match so far.
|
This is almost like a different sport to the slug fest between Isner and Anderson.
|
A couple of outrageous drop shots from Rafa.
|
One of best sets I've ever seen. Nadal put in so much effort it was unreal and despite that Novak still just nicked it.
|
Wow.
What a tie-break. 2-1 Novak. |
Awesome to see Novak back to this level
Annoying the Final will be of a much lower standard but the US Open could be a bit special. |
Djokovic is nailed on which is a shame as he's a boring prick.
D starts a game so well so i can see him closing tomorrow out easily. But the margins in these semis are stupidly tight! So who knows. |
A great article on just what an amazing achievement it is for Serena Williams to be in the Wimbledon final tomorrow.

Godvak Djokovic beats Rafael Nadull.:rock:

Natural order restored in British tennis.
Murray beat Edmund overnight. |
Benoît Paire taking defeat in his stride. This outburst cost him £12k.
|
Bless him
|
|
 great to see what it means to him.
I see hes talking about bailing out of the tournament after finishing at 3am and due back on court today. |
playing a sport at 3am is fucking madness

Good to see that post injury Andy is just thinking about the Slams. Pre injury he would have just got on with it, hence the mess his body was in. Watching some highlights he looks really fit, and compared to the matches he tried to play in comeback pre Christmas, where he had massively restricted movement he looks really mobile. I want him finishing his career on 6 or 7 slams, so he better not let me down. He should sack off the French and concentrate on the other three. He has been runner up in the Aus about 5 times, so he is due there for sure. Wimbledon he has the home support, and the US is his favourite tournament. |
Andy Murray back in Grand Slam action for the first time since Wimbledon 2017.
1 set all with James Duckworth. Live on Amazon Prime. Kyle Edmund was knocked out earlier on. |
Andy 2-1 up, having lost the first set.
|
Andy Murray wins on comeback.
|
Andy Murray loses first set to Verdasco having had set points.
Playing quite well, but a bit rusty. Step up in class from what he has been used to on the comeback trail. |
Andy takes the second 6-2
Looks ridiculously hot out there. |
Murray gone.
|
I watched the entire match and am fairly encouraged. Mobility looked good and Verdasco had to give everything to win where Murray wasn’t all that accurate, yet still played some great points.
Another solid step back on his road back to the top. |
Hmm.
Have to take your word for it, I didn't see it. I worry about him though, I can't see him getting back to his level. Would love to be wrong. |
He should pay a visit to Nadals doctors
|
I assuming you’re insinuating doping

Andy had a set point in the first also. Which if he’d taken it may have changed the dynamic of the entire match. Same as with Novak, Roger and Rafa who all took a while to get back up to speed after injury I’d say yesterday was the most encouraging sign yet that Andy can compete at the top level. It may just take him a few months to find the consistency. It was in some ways like watching 18 year old Andy knowing that their was a lot of untapped potential yet to come. |
Some shot from Roger
|
Around the net :haha: don't see that often!
|
unreal, how is it legal?!
