This US Open course looks brutal.

Had a few quid of Dustin Johnson and Jason Day

Chazza 19-06-15 09:05 AM

Woods :shake: Can't hit the ball straight!

How bad do the greens look?

Shocking for a major championship

RichC 19-06-15 09:07 AM

I've never seen greens like it for a Major, you can't really tell where the fairway ends and the green starts.

Chazza 19-06-15 09:09 AM

Temporary greens at Hoebridge look better :D

RichC 19-06-15 09:23 AM

They do at that :D

10+ for Tiger :haha: Poor bloke has just gone mentally, bizarre as he's supposed to be hitting well on the practice tee but gets on the course and it's all wrong.

3 of my picks in and around the lead which is good (so far!)

Shaggy 19-06-15 09:43 AM

Tiger needs to pack it in.

RichC 19-06-15 09:43 AM

He won't though.

Red_Polo 20-06-15 11:23 AM

Amazing how years ago almost everyone thought he'd blitz Nicklaus' majors record. Looks highly unlikely he'll ever match it now.

RichC 20-06-15 11:30 AM

Never the same after the stripper stuff came out and his divorce from his wife.

PTP 20-06-15 11:32 AM

Someone was saying on talksport the other day that they think woods is contractually obliged to play certain events, especially majors etc otherwise he'd just fuck it off

RichC 20-06-15 11:40 AM

Could well be the case. Heard somewhere there's been a 15% drop off of people taking up golf which correlates to Tigers drop off.

Chazza 20-06-15 11:10 PM

Mate of mine backed Reed.

Text me earlier saying he might cash out cos he can't bear cheering on the fat head cunt :haha:

RichC 20-06-15 11:31 PM

Spieth stretching his lead.

What's the cash out value

Chazza 20-06-15 11:35 PM

Going to win it isn't he!?!

Well it was just over a ton be about 50 now

RichC 20-06-15 11:36 PM

Esp when you see Johnson dropping another shot ffs.

Spieth just looks so controlled out there

Chazza 21-06-15 11:27 PM

Rory on the charge

-2 now

That was some putt!

RichC 21-06-15 11:30 PM

Amazing putt

For purely selfish reasons I want either Dustin or Day to win :D

Chazza 21-06-15 11:35 PM

If Dustin could putt he would be clear by now.

Liverpel 21-06-15 11:36 PM

I understand why Lowry is dressed all in black, but he must be melting out there.

Aye, tee to green he's been brilliant but not taking the chances will surely put pressure on especially seeing Rory suddenly appearing on the leaderboard

In memory of the six Irish students who died in California last week.

Shame Rory missed that birdie putt on the (i think it was the) 14th yesterday, he seemed to lose all momentum after that. Had it gone in you never know.

Unfortunately fell asleep at 1:30am yesterday and missed all the good bits. Anyone manage it? :D

Shaggy 22-06-15 10:43 AM

Fell asleep at about 1am. Unbelievable achievement from Spieth. I'm amazed tbh.

wiw 22-06-15 10:49 AM

Pretty incredible temperament on him for a 21 year old. He didn't start very well did he, hit his first few drives left and wasn't playing great but fair play to him. They kept saying yesterday he does exactly what Nicklaus used to do - just hang around near the top of the field and the other guys fall away.

I absolutely love the ball tracker thing they use btw :D I wish they had that for all events. Spieth hit a pretty outrageous looking draw on one of the holes and you could see it perfectly with the tracker. The way they consistently strike the ball is a bit mental really.

Hollowman 22-06-15 11:02 AM

It's almost as if Johnson bumps a couple of lines coming down the stretch on day four of majors. Every. Single. Time.

Shaggy 22-06-15 11:08 AM

Haha :haha: poor bastard.

RichC 22-06-15 11:31 AM

Useless fucker

3 Putted your winnings down the drain.

I got on Oosthuizen E/W @ 22/1 before the 4th round started.

RichC 22-06-15 08:32 PM

Nice effort that :D

I had an e/w on charl schwartzel at 150/1 first 6 pay, cunt finished 7th :D

Chazza 06-07-15 11:06 AM

Rory out of the Open after rupturing his ankle ligaments playing football.

Dessy 13-07-15 04:02 PM

Spieth looking awesome on course recently and Fowler doing well at the weekend......anyone fancy anything other than a US winner of the open this year?

RichC 13-07-15 04:04 PM

Spieth looks like the clear favourite but I don't think it's a shoe-in for a US winner.

Handy little form guide

Nice link.

On that form guide the Johnsons (Dustin and Zach) could be a fair bet at 14/1 and 125/1 respectively.

RichC 13-07-15 04:13 PM

Matsuyama for me would be worth an e/w

I keep betting on Dustin and he keeps choking !

Chazza 13-07-15 04:13 PM

What's the forecast?

The Scottish Open winners normally go very close.
