Brighton two up at Newcastle inside 10 minutes.

Mad weekend.

Itís at least part performance. Fair play to him, he playing the game and heís raking it in from it.

Lamptey is some player.

Buzzo 20-09-20 03:50 PM

Mental red card. Had to go though.

That name reminds me of watching Trans World Sport at the crack of dawn on Saturday mornings. I'd wake up ridiculously early, go downstairs and watch Daktari (some sort of jungle drama), then Ludwig, the animated egg thing and then Trans World Sport.

There was a Lamptey kid, 15 years old or some such, ripping it up in a far flung league. The next big thing.

He seemed to disappear without trace once I discovered lie ins.

Fivex 20-09-20 04:19 PM

Nii Lamptey?

Yes, that's the one.

Did he ever have a decent career?

Fivex 20-09-20 04:23 PM

:haha:

Iím just reading his wiki page. Ron Atkinson signed him twice (villa and Coventry) and he only scored in the league cup for both. He was delinquent and his agent hung him out to dry and rinsed him.

He should have stayed at PSV. :handshake:

Fivex 20-09-20 04:24 PM

Sorry, illiterate. Not delinquent. :haha: :o

I was wondering how that might have happened. Big Ron turning him into some sort of drug mule or something.

Yup. Cracking player. Midget so maybe we'll sign him later on.

RedReet 21-09-20 08:18 PM

Come on Wolves.

S-RED 21-09-20 08:19 PM

2mins in & Sterling dives, ref spotted it & no pen; but why no card, it is blatant cheating

I agree.

Fredo 21-09-20 08:46 PM

City majestic for the opening 30 minutes here. Relentless intensity and passing, Wolves not been able to live with them up to now.

Roboklopp 21-09-20 09:07 PM

ďMajesticĒ :chunks:

Fredo 21-09-20 09:13 PM

They certainly have been impressive. I think the double pivot in midfield makes them more solid and less vulnerable to the counter attack. Would be curious to see what Wolves do second half. They havenít been able to lay a glove on City at all first half.

Fredo 21-09-20 09:32 PM

Much better from Wolves.

Ams12 21-09-20 09:34 PM

Wolves have had 4 decent chances last 10 or so minutes!

not so 'majestic' this half

Fredo 21-09-20 10:14 PM

Great game and win by City this. Wolves always stay in games and gave City a fight second half. Both teams were at full pelt. City utterly dominant first half deserved the win.

Wolves were shocking first half, couldn't string two passes together, although City obviously didn't let them play.

They were much better 2nd half and could easily have taken something from the game, but it was the worst performance I've seen from Neves and Moutinho in midfield.

labourRed 22-09-20 09:54 AM

Moutinho looks like his legs havd gone although it was always going to be a difficult game. If i was arsed I'd look up his stats but i doubt they'd be kind.

Buzzo 26-09-20 12:44 PM

Torn between the glee of hoping for another Utd defeat and the reality that it is going to be more fun watching them with Ole at the wheel. I reckon Pochetino is waiting in the wings.

A draw today would be nice?

They could lose 5-0 and Ole will still come out smelling of roses. Teflon manager.

You gotta love it. :D

Buzzo 26-09-20 12:55 PM

Brighton on top.

Pepe79 26-09-20 12:56 PM

How’s Lallana doing?

Buzzo 26-09-20 12:57 PM

Yeah looks really good in the bit I watched. Always looking to play forward and not giving up possession. He’s running the game.

Pepe79 26-09-20 12:59 PM

Good, hope he has a good injury free season.

Fivex 26-09-20 01:00 PM

Let's hope for an injury-free match first hey :D

dizzycat 26-09-20 01:04 PM

This is annoying, bit of luck and United could have been getting a pumping. At least Rashford was offside.

dizzycat 26-09-20 01:08 PM

Haha pelanty

Fivex 26-09-20 01:11 PM

Loool

Buzzo 26-09-20 01:11 PM

1-0 Brighton

Pepe79 26-09-20 01:11 PM

Penalty given against Bruno Fernandes! Karma.

dizzycat 26-09-20 01:12 PM

That was the best penalty you'll see this season. Brilliant

Pepe79 26-09-20 01:15 PM

1-1 Maguire

Or Dunk og.
