He likes to **** pensioner prostitutes. It's a bit more than a flaw.

Next you'll be saying George Michael is mis understood.

Sorry Sarb, but the section of Spud's post I have quoted is that bit that Van Halen highlighted and said that is what Rooney would be doing. That is obviously unfounded.
I rest my case your honour

In that circumstance I have rather more sympathy for Rooney than his supposed victims.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

            Photographers have feelings too.

And there's never any excuses for spitting at someone.

Not at all, do you understand basic English? I make no reference to anybody making unfounded claims about me. I am making the point that Wayne Rooney is a thug, period (understand so far?) I have friends and family on Merseyside that know the Rooneys well. Some of them are Evertonians who went to school with him at De La Salle in Liverpool. Hopefully that's clear enough for you and the other guy who's now bringing his wife into the mix.

It always confounds me when people say or imply that spitting is somehow worse than hitting. Yes it's repellent but...

That aside, I don't really care if tabloid photographers have feelings. I'm going to change my signature and they are included.

By the way, it's not meant literally.

Oooh we're resorting to patronising now are we?

I was merely pointing out that what you have suggested Rooney would be doing there is unfounded, whether you know people who know people or not.

He should apologize for being a horrible, rough, uncouth human being. He epitomizes everything that's wrong in football and society. Send the ba***rd to Afghanistan for a couple of years, he may just refresh his very limited vocabulary with the word integrity.
Yeah let's send him abroad to fight an illegal and immoral war to teach him about integrity.

I see your point but I feel there is something inherently scummy about spitting on someone. Hitting someone is obviously going to inflict a lot more physical pain but spitting on someone is just plain degrading.

No, asking a question is not condescending. You can only make a fair judgement about someone if there is enough evidence to support your case. Wayne Rooney is a thug always has been, always will be.

Who said anything about fighting? He would be better off working for the red cross as an aid worker.

But 'knowing someone' on Merseyside who's judged Rooney as a thug is enough supporting evidence to suggest he epitomises everything that is wrong with society?
