It's a sad ending for Rafa if true - he really could have been a great for us. I have no issue with him being impersonal to the players. They get paid enough to be treated like robots, I don't care about that, but given some decent backing, and perhaps appropriately informed of his mistakes, he could have been a great manager.

I feel genuinely bad for him, although £3m would make me feel a little bit better.

Nevertheless, I know some people here genuinely want rid of Rafa, but think about it - we don't have a single friend in the club of any authority if he goes.

Rafa WAS great for us some of the time Tatterdemelion - That he couldn't have been greatER is because of first the Pygmies and then the utter, utter C***s who he found running the club during his tenure. Think I might give up on LFC if this rubbish is true for a year or two and concentrate on bringing up my little boy.
