Reading between the lines it appears very relaxed that nothing was said. Apart from a spurious link to a Brazilian striker, the transfers out appears to be more on Sturridge leaving than anyone coming in. You'd think that if the club had got any bad vibes about a potential ban coming for him, you'd like to think they would be looking to add rather than sell.

They should have been able to sort this out by now, how long does it take to get hold of and watch the video footage? Also they should have spoken to the players within the first week.

I know you're joking...but it occurred to me the other day that selling any more of our big-name footballers to Barcelona (or Madrid, I guess) runs a real reputational risk to LFC - that we literally become known as a feeder club for the La Liga 'giants'.
