Away with work so will go out for a pint to calm down now but let me be the first to rant.

I said it earlier we have had great results s far this season but us fans know (if you don't you are lying to yourself) that we haven't been good this season. we all thought that we were managing games and holding back and when we needed to we could just click again......maybe not.

The front three have been shocking, missing easy passes to each other, making bad decisions and also been greedier than last season. Mane has been infuriating from time to time especially tonight.

Our midfield is lacking the drive and dynamism from last season and they are not connecting to the forwards at all. Maybe Hendo can improve that - who the **** knows. Lallana is not the answer to any question and good as Milner is he needs to be managed as surely his legs are feeling it.

I said it during the game but how much of an impact did Buvac have on our attacking play. I remember reading that he was the "brain" behind all the attacking drills that made the off the cuff stuff seem off the cuff when in fact it was drilled into them repeatedly.

Tonight has been coming, don't doubt it. This isn't knee jerk and as I said anyone who has watched all the games could see it. Our defence was a little off tonight and didn't save us and we were made to pay.

I don't think the wheels will fall off but the CL might be over for us now which might help with the league but we need to shake things up especially in midfield.
