Apparently the Egyptian FA botched their vote and he's annoyed, removing references to the national team on twitter.

The removing them from his social media thing is a bit cringe and immature, but the Egyptian FA does seem to consistently be a shambles.

Maybe he should just quit international football?

Sounds like they are utterly corrupt, and keep using him for political favours etc. Then shit on him when it suits.

Feel really sorry for him as he is a national icon, a unifying force, and the most humble guy you can come across.

I must admit, I dont use Instagram. Im basing that on a couple of interviews that are half remembered.

He doesnt come across like Ronaldo or Zlatan.

This international break will do him a world of good. His overall game looks way off. Strange saying that when his stats are good and he scored 2 vs Salzberg. Unfortunately you can see he has not been at his best. That is the standard he has set. Relax and chill out Mo, loads of goals for you this season.

Sounds promising for the United game.

As for the Choudhury shithouse challenge, it was dirt, but if Fabinho had done it for us in similar circumstances we'd have all celebrated it.

A doubt for the United game but thankfully, he had only a twisted ankle.

A weeks rest and then ease him back in to training, he'll be right for United, even if it's from the bench with Divock given a rare start

Haven’t seen him score one of these ‘arse out’ goals for a while.

Immense.

He has kind of struggled for a while, poor touch, nothing really clicking, but even though this goal wasnt very flamboyant it showed great man strength and determination.
Could have easily taken the easy option and allowed himself to be flattened.
It could really give him a lift going in to the next few games.

His touch was off all game, he was having an absolute stinker then out of nowhere a beautiful assist then a stunning goal out of nothing (I enjoyed it as much as the 2nd goal).

Mo

Showed just what a difference it made him not playing against United

Yeah - a bit reminiscent of King Kenny in his pomp - backing into the defender with a low centre of gravity - really hard to defend against. All done at lightning speed.
I still think we've got several players searching for their best form...including all of the front three...and our full-backs...if they all click at the same time someone is going to get absolutely mauled to pieces.

Jurgen just pretty much said it was nothing, just a bit of bother in his ankle that gets worse the longer a game goes.

Choudhury is scum.

The City game is two weeks away, he can rest up during the Arsenal cup game. We then play Villa away and Genk at home. Maybe 60 minutes against Genk and then the full game against City?

No Genk. Just against Villa. Why risk it?

Because Genk is after Villa so he can rest for as long as possible.
